Birth Sign Items
According to legend, ancient Hawaiian moon signs can be traced back to 200 A.D. when Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian islands, was home to the Menehune, a race of tiny people who were exceptional artisans and stone work masons. Folklore says the Menehune would work at night creating vast projects such as the Menehune fishpond ( still seen today on Kauai) and by day would carve individual birthsigns, based on the Hawaiian Moon Calendar, into lava rock. Tradition has it that those born under a Hawaiian Moon Sign will always carry with them the gift of “Menehune Aloha” the true spirit of Hawaii.
